Abstract:
Data is kept in the Distributed Storage System(DSS), protecting users from monitoring. Private Information Theory(PIR) is a method used to obtain the information requested from DSS without the knowledge of the server. One way to obtain data without the knowledge of the server is to request all the information from the server, but this method has a high communication cost. In literature, many techniques have been used to find an effective algorithm. In one of them, MDS codes that work in large fields are used. In this study, we prefer to use cyclic codes to work in smaller fields than MDS codes. We obtained better privacy and rate system than binary RM code based on our obtained data.
