Abstract:
Angiogenesis is the process of creation of new blood vessel from the pre-existing vascular network. This process is of crucial importance in tumor growth. In this talk we will present some new results on a system of PDEs describing the onset of angiogenesis. Furthermore, we will introduce a family of new models together with some well-posedness results for these new equations.
