Objetivos: El fin principal de este grupo de investigación es desarrollar trabajos en el campo de la Física Matemática, con énfasis en sus aplicaciones en Mecánica Clásica y Cuántica. Los objetivos concretos son: 1.- Avanzar en las líneas de investigación específicas descritas más adelante, contribuyendo a la formación de investigadores y nuevos doctores, difundiendo los resultados que se vayan obteniendo a través de los canales usuales en nuestra disciplina (publicaciones en revistas internacionales de prestigio y participación en reuniones científicas y congresos de nivel internacional). 2.- Afianzar e incrementar las relaciones con grupos de investigación de otras universidades nacionales y extranjeras, promoviendo el intercambio de investigadores en ambas direcciones. 3.- Promover la realización de congresos y reuniones científicas relacionadas con las líneas de investigación del grupo. 4.- Desarrollar actividades de divulgación científica.
Líneas de investigación: Técnicas algebraicas en Física Cuántica y aplicaciones en modelos de Física de materia condensada: grafeno, nanotubos, ... Técnicas geométricas en Gravitación y en Teoría de Campos. Sistemas integrables y superintegrables. Resonancias en mecánica cuántica. Mecánica cuántica supersimétrica.
